Hi And Welcome!

I have some exciting news happening next week on 27 May, and I wanted to make sure you knew about it.

I have been asked to read a passage from my upcoming novel, Letting Go, the first novel in the Dreamscapes series. The book will be released on October 26 and I’m thrilled I can share a preview of the novel with readers from all over the world next Thursday.

I’ll be participating in the May Over the Edge: Open Reading taking place over Zoom from the beautiful city of Galway, Ireland. I had the wonderful pleasure of attending writing workshops facilitated by Susan Millar DuMars when I lived in Galway. Susan and her husband Kevin Higgins run Over the Edge and Susan is the MC for the event.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. Galway time, which is 10:30 a.m. Arizona (and Pacific time) and 1:30 p.m. Eastern time. I’ve included the press release below with the zoom link. There will be three readers followed by an open mic session. I hope you can listen in.

KD Pryor (Kelley Amrein) is a writer and world traveller who loves to add elements of her travels into her books. She loves all things mysterious, and ghosts, mythology, and supernatural elements often find their way into her stories. Some of her favourite things include her family, her cats, a walk in the sun along a quiet country road, a stroll in Galway, Ireland where she always finds the best coffee, great books, a cuddly pair of slippers, and warm wool sweaters. Kelley and her husband currently live in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Find her at: www.kdpryor.com.

Francis Xavier Edwards was born in La Ciudad de Nuestra Senora, Reina del Cielo y Los Angeles, commonly known as Los Angeles. He came to the world in the middle of the month, in the middle of the year, in the middle of the last century into a large Irish-Catholic family. At a young age he left home to return to Ireland. 47 years and 25 countries later he finally arrived in 2017. Along the way he encountered poetry and music of many cultures and writers. Musician, traveler, writer, gardener, and observer of the world, he now lives in Galway where one of his many pursuits is writing poetry.
